Japanese castle
3D model of a Japanese castle
Japanese castles 3D are 3D fortresses composed primarily of 3D wood and stone. The 3D Japanese castles evolved from the wooden stockades 3D of earlier centuries, and later came into their most well-known form. Like European 3D castles, the castles of 3D Japan were built to guard important or strategic sites, such as 3D ports, 3D river crossings, or 3D crossroads, and almost always incorporated the 3D landscape into their defense. In the name of a 3D Japanese castle one can frequently see the Japanese character for castle, '城', normally read as shiro and that is read as jō when it is attached to a word.
