MIR-1

Russian submarine MIR-1 3D model

This MIR-1 submarine 3D model is a part of Bathyscaphe collection.

The prototype of 3D MIR is a real self-propelled Deep Submergence Vehicle. Usually the non – 3D MIR-1 submarine is used for scientific research. The project was initially developed by the Russian Academy of Sciences. In July 2008 both Mirs initiated a two-year expedition to Lake Baikal, the world's largest freshwater reservoir. So, if you want to create the Baikal visualization, the 3D model of MIR-1 submarine may be useful!
