Contemporary London tram
The British are well-known as people really attached to their history. Thus, it is not surprising that the London tram has a story to tell. In the UK capital there have been two separate generations of trams, from 1860 to 1952 and from 2000. So, for a period between 1952 and 2000 there were no tramways in London. But then new rail systems were built applying light rail, as the steeper gradients, cheaper engines, and more flexible land use inherent in modern designs led to more affordable and practical systems.
The redeveloped Docklands area of East London became the first one where the London tramway ran on light rails.
The new London tramway 3D model’s proportions impress. Also reasonable poly count and nicely done details should be mentioned.
